Ryan grew up in Russell County in the small town of Luray, Kansas and went to Lucas-Luray High School in Lucas.  He then graduated from Fort Hays State University with a B.S. in Business Communications.  He has been a resident of Hays for the past 20 years where he lives with his fiancée Jalynn and two children Bryanna and Braxton.  Ryan has had experience in many fields from manufacturing/construction to management/sales.
